One of Sweden’s most beloved December traditions is returning to New York City this holiday season.
Scandinavia House will host its annual Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM, featuring a traditional Swedish Lucia procession.
Lucia in the heart of Manhattan
The annual celebration brings the Swedish tradition of St. Lucia to Scandinavia House, the Nordic cultural center on Park Avenue. Lucia celebrations are traditionally marked by candlelight, music and a procession led by Lucia in a white gown and crown of candles.
Scandinavia House currently lists the 2026 Holiday Concert for December 6 at 5:00 PM. Additional program and ticket information may be announced closer to the event.
