One of Chicago’s longstanding Swedish holiday traditions is returning this December. The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Chicago will host its Annual Lucia Luncheon at The Drake on Friday, December 11, 2026.

The annual luncheon brings the Swedish-American community together for an afternoon centered around Lucia, one of Sweden’s best-known December traditions. SACC Chicago describes the Lucia Luncheon as one of its signature events and its flagship annual celebration.
