Swedish drummer Hampus Öhman-Frölund will bring his new solo project Motvalsen to Scandinavia House in New York on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
The NYC-based musician’s first drums and percussion solo record blends acoustic percussion with electronics, samples and instruments from Sweden. The project explores leaving Sweden, building a life in New York and reconnecting with cultural roots from abroad.
